The filter features an additional antimicrobial agent applied to the media to prevent mold growth and utilizes 100% synthetic media to achieve a MERV 11 value. This pleated filter efficiently accumulates heavier and more restrictive particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats, while keeping the sides open for prolonged effective filtration. It offers low resistance, which improves airflow and can significantly reduce energy costs. Designed to support USGBC-LEED certification projects, the filter boasts a low initial pressure drop and an initial efficiency over two times greater than traditional cotton-poly filters, with an initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles.
