The pleated air filter is designed for use in HVAC units across commercial, light commercial, and industrial buildings, suitable for applications such as office and retail spaces, industrial filtration, single and multi-family housing, government and education facilities, and healthcare environments including doctor offices, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. It features a 100% synthetic media with an antimicrobial agent applied to prevent mold growth, achieving a MERV 11 rating. The pleated design traps heavier, more restrictive particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats, keeping the sides open longer for effective filtration, which contributes to low initial pressure drop and improved airflow, potentially reducing energy costs. The filter provides initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles and is moisture resistant, with initial efficiency more than double that of traditional cotton poly filters. This filter supports projects aiming for USGBC-LEED certification.
