It features a 100% synthetic media with an antimicrobial agent applied to prevent mold growth, achieving a MERV 11 rating. The pleated design accumulates heavier, more restrictive particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats while keeping the sides open longer for effective filtration, resulting in low resistance that improves airflow and can reduce energy costs. The filter offers an initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles, which is over twice that of traditional cotton poly filters. The media is moisture resistant and supports USGBC-LEED certification points. This filter provides a low initial pressure drop for better performance and durability.
