It features a 100% synthetic media treated with an antimicrobial agent to prevent mold growth, achieving a MERV 11 rating. The pleated design traps heavier, more restrictive particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats while keeping the sides open longer for effective filtration, resulting in low resistance that improves airflow and can significantly reduce energy costs. The filter offers low initial pressure drop and initial efficiency over twice that of traditional cotton poly filters, with initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles.
