The pleated air filter is designed for use in HVAC units across commercial, light commercial, and industrial buildings, including office and retail spaces, industrial filtration, single and multi-family housing, government and education facilities, and healthcare settings such as doctor offices, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. It features an additional antimicrobial agent applied to the media to prevent mold growth and utilizes 100% synthetic media that achieves a MERV 11 rating. The pleated design allows heavier, more restrictive particles to accumulate at the bottom or tips of the pleats while keeping the sides open longer for effective filtration, resulting in low resistance that improves airflow and potentially reduces energy costs. The filter's initial pressure drop is low, with initial efficiency over twice that of traditional cotton poly filters, and it is moisture resistant with initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles.
