The pleated air filter is designed for use in HVAC units across commercial, light commercial, and industrial buildings, including office and retail spaces, industrial filtration, single and multi-family housing, government and education facilities, as well as healthcare settings such as doctor offices, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. It features an additional antimicrobial agent applied to the media to prevent mold growth and utilizes 100% synthetic media that achieves a MERV 11 rating. The pleated design captures heavier, more restrictive particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats while keeping the sides open longer for effective filtration, resulting in low resistance that improves airflow and reduces energy costs. The filter contributes to USGBC-LEED certification points and has a low initial pressure drop with an initial efficiency over twice that of traditional cotton poly filters, exhibiting an initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles. The moisture-resistant 100% synthetic media enhances durability and performance.
