An additional antimicrobial agent is applied to the media to inhibit mold growth, and the filter utilizes 100% synthetic media, achieving a MERV 11 rating. Its design allows pleated filters to accumulate heavier particles at the bottom or tips, maintaining effective filtration longer by keeping the sides open. The low resistance improves airflow, which may significantly reduce energy costs. This filter is also beneficial for USGBC-LEED certification projects. It boasts a low initial pressure drop and an initial efficiency that is over two times greater than traditional cotton poly, with a moisture-resistant 100% synthetic media and an initial efficiency greater than 74% for 1-3 micron particles.
