Grade 100 alloy chain slings offer approximately 25% higher strength than Grade 80, making them a preferred choice for overhead lifting applications. These slings are made in America using superior triple alloy steel, providing the best strength-to-weight performance in the industry. The Herc-Alloy® 100 chain is compliant with ASTM A973 standards, while its components, including hooks and Hammerlok®s, comply with ASTM A952 standards. Each sling is individually serialized for traceability, and proof test certificates are provided with each sling. Additionally, these products meet National Association of Chain Manufacturers (NACM), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for overhead lifting.
