Grade 100 alloy chain slings have approximately 25% higher strength than Grade 80, making them ideal for use as a sling component for overhead lifting. These slings are made of superior triple alloy steel, ensuring the best strength-to-weight performance in the industry. Grade 100 chain can be utilized for the same applications as Grades 30 through 80 and is manufactured in America. Herc-Alloy® 100 chain meets ASTM A973 standards, while components such as hooks and Hammerlok®s comply with ASTM A952 standards. Each sling is individually serialized for traceability, and proof test certificates are provided with each sling. Additionally, they meet NACM, ASME, and OSHA standards for overhead lifting.
