The Ergodyne Squids® Slips® 3740 hand tool trap, available in black/orange and offered in a variety 4 pack, is designed to enhance workplace safety by retrofitting small hand tools to minimize the risk of dropped objects. This innovative solution features an easy installation process that requires no additional tools or complex wrapping; users simply "slip" the tool attachment onto the tool and connect it to a Squids® tool lanyard to establish a tethering system. Unlike traditional fitted caps that can obstruct tool information, the Slips® design keeps the end open for easier access. The single-piece design simplifies installation compared to multi-piece alternatives, as users can easily puncture the interior membrane of the tool slip and slide the attachment to their preferred location. The interior star points secure the attachment, while the swiveling exterior ring provides a solid connection for tool lanyards. This product is particularly effective for small hand tools, which often lack captive connection points; it accommodates tools weighing up to 1 lb based on diameter and is compatible with various sizes ranging from 0.05" (1.3mm) to 0.49" (12.5mm), with a size chart available for specific dimensions.
