The Ergodyne Squids® 3196 grinder tool tethering kit is designed for tethering standard corded or cordless grinder power tools weighing up to 8 lbs (3.6 kg). The kit includes a 3110F(X) dual carabiner tool lanyard and a 3797 power tool bracket grinder tool trap™, providing a secure and convenient solution to prevent dropped objects when working at heights. The installation process is straightforward and requires one-time assembly, enabling quick attachment to tools without complicated taping or shrinking. Simply fasten the included tool bracket and labels onto screw ports intended for removable grinder handles, and connect the 3110F(X) tool lanyard to the bracket tether point once the appropriate torque is applied. The stainless-steel tool bracket comes with two metric fasteners (M8, M10) for compatibility with various brands. This bracket is specifically designed for grinders but can also be utilized with other hand tools, cameras, and laser alignment tools with screw ports that fit M8 and M10 fasteners.
