The Ergodyne Squids® 3797 Grinder Tool Trap is a stainless-steel power tool bracket designed to tether both corded and cordless grinder power tools using a tool lanyard, enhancing safety while working at heights. This tool bracket includes a set of two metric fasteners (M8, M10) for versatile mounting on various grinder brands and models. The installation process is straightforward with a one-time assembly that allows quick attachment of a lanyard to the power tools. Once the tool bracket is securely fastened to the screw ports intended for removable grinder handles, a tool lanyard can be connected to ensure safe tethering. Suitable for any grinder weighing up to 8 lbs. (3.63 kg), the patented design directs the tether away from the grinder's wheel, offering additional safety. While primarily designed for angle grinders, the bracket is also compatible with cameras, laser alignment tools, and other devices that feature screw ports accommodating M8 and M10 fasteners.
