The Ergodyne Squids® 3796 Drill & Impact Driver Tool Trap is a stainless-steel power tool bracket designed to create a secure attachment point for tethering cordless drills, impact drivers, and other power tools with a tool lanyard, significantly enhancing workplace safety by reducing the risk of dropped objects. This kit includes a set of six metric fasteners (M2.5, M3, M4) for mounting to various power tools from brands such as Bosch, Milwaukee, Makita, and Dewalt. The straightforward installation involves a one-time assembly that allows for a quick, easy one-step attachment of a lanyard to power tools by fastening the tool bracket onto the designated screw ports intended for accessory belt hooks. This tool bracket is ideal for smaller 12V cordless power tools that cannot be wrapped by Squids® 3180 Power Tool Wraps, featuring a patent-pending design capable of retrofitting tools weighing up to 3 lbs. (1.36 kg.), depending on the size of the fastener used. While primarily designed for cordless drills and impact drivers, the brackets can also be compatible with cameras, laser alignment tools, and other devices that accommodate M2.5, M3, and M4 fasteners.
