The Ergodyne Squids® 3010 Retractable Lanyard with Belt Loop Clip, in black, is a lightweight and durable tethering solution specifically designed to mount securely to your belt or the webbing of a fall protection harness. It limits potential snag hazards and can tether hand tools weighing up to 5 lbs / 2.26 kg, effectively preventing falling objects when working at heights. The retractable tethering cord is constructed from high-strength, cut-resistant Dyneema® and features a protective sleeve to enhance longevity. With a durable ABS plastic housing that is textured for improved grip, it safeguards the internal components of the lanyard. The design includes a tapered cord exit to minimize debris retraction. Weighing less than 0.5 lb / 0.22 kg and measuring 48 in / 122 cm when fully extended, the lanyard incorporates a fixed belt loop mount for rated belts up to 2 in / 5 cm wide and 0.38 in / 1 cm thick. It is equipped with a patented Squids® double-action carabiner for tool attachment, and a trigger switch allows users to set and lock the desired working length to avoid consistent tension. This tool lanyard has been tested and approved to meet the ANSI/ISEA 121 standard, featuring a tethering cord that reveals a red length as an impact indicator for forces of 110 lbs / 50 kg or greater.
