The Skullerz® 8955 lightweight bump cap hat is designed for comfort and style, featuring a highly-ventilated, impact-resistant inner shell that offers protection against cranial bumps, bruises, scrapes, and other minor head injuries. Weighing less than 5 oz (135 g), this baseball-style bump cap addresses two key challenges in fieldwork: weight and heat. The shell is made from lightweight, durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and ensures maximum ventilation for continuous airflow and superior breathability without compromising safety. A removable, washable, and anti-microbial pad crafted from durable EPP foam lines the interior, enhancing airflow for cooler wear. Both the pad and shell include matching vents to channel heat away from the head, while integrated cooling channels further facilitate air movement above the foam.
