The Personnel Cleaning Station NED (Non-Electrical Discharge) is designed to eliminate the hazards associated with self-cleaning using standard shop compressed air, allowing for a safe and effective vacuuming of dust, powders, and chips from worker clothing and skin. This unit features a high-efficiency pneumatic vacuum combined with a proprietary on-demand air-agitator brush attachment that is activated by a thumb switch, which loosens and lifts particles into the vacuum hose for transport to the container. It is virtually maintenance-free due to the absence of an electric motor and is constructed from electrically conductive components to suppress static charge buildup, ensuring safety when used with combustible materials typically present in manufacturing, chemical, and food processing facilities. The system includes a 5.5-gallon static conductive polyethylene container, a standard cartridge filter rated at 77% efficiency at 0.8 microns, a static conductive air-agitator brush attachment, a pre-drilled steel vertical mounting plate for space-saving setup, a 1-1/4" ID x 5' static conductive vacuum hose, a 3/8" ID x 20' static conductive air hose, and a shutoff valve with a 3/8" FNPT inlet.
