The unique box-style design of this ampule opener allows for one-handed opening of up to 3 ampules at a time, and is currently patent pending. It features a mechanism that enables users to easily and safely open ampules by gently pressing down on the lid, which cleanly snaps the ampule necks while keeping the contents contained within the device and away from fingers. After the contents are removed, the device can be turned upside down over a trash receptacle for safe disposal of ampules and tops. The kit includes four inserts that accommodate the opening of 1ml, 2ml, 5ml, and 10ml ampules. Additionally, the transparency of the device allows for unobstructed viewing of ampule contents at all times, and it is constructed from copolyester plastic, which offers broad chemical resistance.
