This EPA registered formula follows CDC recommendations to reduce DEET concentration in insect repellents, allowing for a controlled release of DEET for longer-lasting protection, previously achievable only with higher concentrations. The new water-based formula is non-greasy, non-staining, low odor, and resistant to water and sweat. Bug X 30 insect repellent contains 30% DEET and offers over 7 hours of effective protection against a wide range of pests including mosquitoes, ticks, chiggers, fleas, gnats, red bugs, no-see-ums, sand fleas, biting flies, deer flies, stable flies, and black flies. It effectively repels insects that can carry diseases such as West Nile virus, Zika virus, Lyme disease, human granulocytic ehrlichiosis (HGE), encephalitis, malaria, dengue fever, and spotted fever. The product is available in both towelette and spray packaging options, and is EPA registered in all 50 states. Warranty information is available upon request.
