Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency and can be effectively cleaned to ensure uncompromised food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction, which provides protection against corrosion, minimizing the risk of costly downtime and repairs. They include hardened epoxy resin encapsulation of the windings, offering additional internal protection against water and humidity, while the encapsulation extends into the conduit box to prevent moisture infiltration. The two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension, made of chemical-resistant Viton material, offers protection against water and high temperatures, making it suitable for direct spray applications. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows for 360-degree rotation (at 90-degree increments) to position the lead opening as required.
