Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are designed to perform reliably at maximum efficiency around the clock while being effectively cleaned to a hygienic level to ensure uncompromised food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that safeguards against corrosion to avoid costly downtime and repairs. They are equipped with encapsulation/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely encapsulates the windings, providing an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture from entering the winding. The two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension prevents water from entering the motor, utilizing Viton material that is chemical resistant and can withstand high temperatures and direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows the middle portion of the 3-piece design to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments to align the lead opening in the desired direction.
