Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency, operating continuously while being easily cleaned to maintain a hygienic environment for food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that provides excellent corrosion resistance, minimizing costly downtime and repairs. The windings are completely encapsulated in hardened epoxy resin, offering an additional layer of protection against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. A two-barrier mechanical seal at the shaft extension effectively prevents water from entering, utilizing Viton material which is chemically resistant and capable of withstanding high temperatures and direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows the middle portion of the 3-piece design to be rotated 360 degrees at 90-degree increments, enabling flexibility in lead opening orientation.
