Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable, efficient performance around the clock, and they can be effectively cleaned to maintain high levels of food safety. They feature an all-stainless steel construction that protects against corrosion, thereby minimizing costly downtime and repairs. The motors have encapsulated/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely encloses the windings for enhanced internal protection against water and humidity; this encapsulation extends into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. Additionally, the two-barrier mechanical shaft seals prevent water entry at the motor's shaft extension, utilizing Viton material that is resistant to chemicals, high temperatures, and direct spray. The rotatable conduit box allows for 360-degree rotation in 90-degree increments, enabling the lead opening to be positioned as needed.
