Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for consistent high performance and reliability while being hygienically cleanable to ensure food safety. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that provides resistance against corrosion, minimizing downtime and repair costs. Enhanced protection against water and humidity is achieved through encapsulated/potted leads, with hardened epoxy resin fully enveloping the windings, which extends into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. A two-barrier mechanical seal, crafted from chemical-resistant Viton material, safeguards the shaft extension against water intrusion while withstanding high temperatures and direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows for 360-degree rotation in 90-degree increments, giving flexibility to position the lead opening as required.
