Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency and for easy cleaning to maintain food safety standards. The motors feature an all stainless-steel construction that prevents corrosion, thereby minimizing costly downtime and repair needs. They incorporate encapsulated and potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin fully surrounds the windings to offer enhanced protection against water and humidity, with the encapsulation extending into the conduit box to deter moisture entry. A two-barrier mechanical seal using Viton material is designed to prevent water ingress at the shaft extension, providing chemical resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and protection against direct spray. Additionally, the rotatable conduit box allows the middle section to be rotated 360 degrees in 90-degree increments to position the lead opening as required.
