Baldor-Reliance food safe IP69 motors are engineered for reliable performance at maximum efficiency around the clock, while being effectively cleanable to ensure uncompromised food safety. They feature an all stainless-steel construction that provides robust protection against corrosion, thereby minimizing costly downtime and repairs. The motors come with encapsulated/potted leads, where hardened epoxy resin completely envelops the windings, offering an additional layer of internal protection against water and humidity; this encapsulation extends into the conduit box to prevent moisture ingress. The design includes two-barrier mechanical shaft seals made from chemical-resistant Viton material, which can withstand high temperatures and direct spray, ensuring optimal performance. Additionally, a rotatable conduit box allows for the middle section to be turned 360 degrees in 90-degree increments, enabling the lead opening to be oriented as needed.
