John Guest LLDPE tubing, measuring 1/4 OD and available in a 500 ft. roll, is produced from low linear density polyethylene, making it suitable for cold and intermittent hot water applications. This tubing offers a wide range of temperature and pressure suitability and broad chemical compatibility, as it is crafted from non-contaminating materials. Common applications include water purification, water conditioners, ice makers, and misting systems. LLDPE is more robust compared to traditional low or medium density polyethylene. The tubing is constructed from FDA compliant materials and is NSF International certified, providing excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking as tested by ASTM D-693.
