The ZipWall floor adaptors are designed to securely lock into the bottom of two ZipWall 12 poles, allowing for the simultaneous sealing of a dust barrier at both the ceiling and floor. To effectively seal the barrier at the floor, users should place a FoamRail tapeless seal on the floor, remove the foot plug, and snap an adaptor into the pole in its place. A second FoamRail tapeless seal can be attached to the top of the pole for sealing at the ceiling. Once the pole is raised and set in place, the seal is completed. Each kit includes two adaptors and works with all FoamRail tapeless seals. The adaptors are sold in packs of two, with six packs available per case.
