The CM Hurricane 360° hand chain hoist has a lifting capacity of 5 tons and a lift height of 10 ft. This hoist features an army-type, integrated trolley that provides ultra-low headroom and includes a geared trolley option (plain also available) for convenient installation. It is equipped with a standard load limiter for simple, automatic overload protection and utilizes a Weston-style braking system for reliable positive load control. The hoist's powder-coated finish ensures corrosion protection, while the heat-treated steel gearing enhances strength and longevity. With a chain guide and stripper, it assures proper load chain alignment, and its precision 4-pocket liftwheel is fully machined for improved chain fit and reduced wear, allowing for accurate load chain movement. The hardened steel chain, made from alloy steel, guarantees high strength and long wear life with minimal maintenance required for disassembly, which does not necessitate special tools. The hoist meets ASME B30.16 and European CE standards. It comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Available options include chain containers and Latchlok hooks.
