The surface is crafted from solution-dyed PET fabric, which is derived from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, specifically drink bottles, and is backed with rubber containing 20% recycled tire content. This robust rubber backing is designed to prevent cracking and curling, ensuring that the mat remains flat and in place. The mats showcase a classic squares pattern, also known as the standard Waterhog design, complemented by a rubber border. Certified by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI), these mats are ideal for placement in indoor entrances. The specifications include a thickness of 3/8 inch and an absorption rate of 24 ounces per square yard, and they are constructed as needle punch carpet mats. It is important to note that the mat size may vary slightly due to the natural characteristics of rubber, with a tolerable manufacturing size variance of 3-5%.
