The AC gearmotor with a parallel shaft features a 1/4 HP power rating and operates at 18 RPM with a gear ratio of 95 to 1. It can handle an overhung load of 700 pounds and delivers a full-load torque of 800 lb.in. This gearmotor is housed in a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure with a 48Y frame and is compatible with 115/208-230V, 1-phase, and 60Hz power supply, drawing 5.4 nameplate amps under continuous duty. Engineered for general-purpose applications, this fractional horsepower AC gearmotor has a rugged aluminum die-cast housing that provides robust support for the gears and bearings, featuring precision machined gearing that is hardened for enhanced load capability. The gearing is designed to AGMA Class 9 standards and can withstand a momentary shock overload of 200%. It also incorporates oversized output bearings for increased overhung load capacity and longevity. The high-carbon alloy output shaft enhances strength and rigidity, while precision-ground needle bearing journals assure optimal finish and fit. Heavy-duty industrial oil seals effectively retain lubricants and exclude contaminants, with gears and bearings being splash lubricated with a permanent, heavy-duty gear oil. This gearmotor is designed for flexible mounting positions, although mounting shaft-up with the motor below the gearhead is not advised. The P1100 AC gearmotor shares the same mounting dimensions as the Bison 482 gearmotors and many Dayton gearmotors and includes a conduit box.
