Product Details
The AC gearmotor features a parallel shaft design with a power rating of 1/3 HP, operates at 41 RPM, and has a gear ratio of 42 to 1. It is capable of handling an overhung load of 650 pounds and delivers a full load torque of 461 lb. in. The gearmotor is housed in a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, has a 48Y frame, and operates on a voltage range of 115/208-230V with a single-phase (1PH) and 60Hz frequency. It has a nameplate current rating of 6.2 amps and is suitable for continuous duty with standard efficiency. The rugged aluminum die-cast housing of the gearbox provides maximum gear and bearing support, complemented by precision machined gearing designed to withstand momentary shock overloads of 200%, adhering to AGMA Class 9 standards. Oversized output bearings enhance the overhung load capacity and longevity, while a high-carbon alloy output shaft ensures maximum strength and rigidity. All needle bearing journals are precision ground post heat treatment to achieve superior finish and fit. The gearmotor is equipped with heavy-duty industrial oil seals to retain lubricant and exclude dirt, and the gears and bearings are splash lubricated with permanent, heavy-duty gear oil. While the gearmotor can be mounted at any angle, mounting shaft-up with the motor below the gearhead is not advised. The P1100 AC gearmotors share the same mounting dimensions as Bison 482 gearmotors and many Dayton gearmotors, and it includes a conduit box. Compatibility includes Bison model 014-482-3042 (featuring a Leeson motor with capacitor start/induction run design) and GRAINGER/DAYTON model 2Z.
