The AC gearmotor features a parallel shaft design with a power rating of 1/3HP, operating at 288 RPM with a gear ratio of 6 to 1. It has an overhung load capacity of 400 pounds and a full load torque of 70 lb. in. This gearmotor is housed in a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, is built on a 48Y frame, and operates at 115/208-230V, 1PH, 60Hz with a name plate amp rating of 6.2, and is designed for continuous duty with standard efficiency. The rugged aluminum die-cast housing of the gearbox ensures maximum gear and bearing support, while the precision machined gearing is hardened to handle maximum load capability. All gearing adheres to AGMA class 9 standards, accommodating momentary shock overloads of 200%. Oversized output bearings enhance overhung load capacity and extend lifespan, while the high-carbon alloy output shaft ensures maximum strength and rigidity. The bearing journals are precision ground after heat treatment for optimal finish and fit, and heavy-duty industrial oil seals maintain lubrication while preventing dirt ingress. The gears and bearings are lubricated with permanent, heavy-duty gear oil. This gearmotor is suitable for mounting at any angle, though shaft-up with the motor below the gearhead is not recommended. The P1100 series AC gearmotors share the same mounting dimensions as Bison 482 gearmotors and many Dayton gearmotors and include a conduit box. It is compatible with Bison part number 014-482-3006 and Grainger/Dayton part number 2Z8.
