The AC gearmotor features a parallel shaft configuration with a power rating of 1/3 HP, operating at 157 RPM and a gear ratio of 11 to 1. It is designed to handle an overhung load of 500 pounds and offers a full load torque of 125 lb. in. The gearmotor is housed in a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, with a 48Y frame, and operates on a voltage range of 115/208-230V at 1-phase and 60Hz, drawing 6.2 name plate amps with a standard efficiency type for continuous duty applications. The rugged aluminum die cast housing of the gearbox provides maximum support for gears and bearings, with precision machined, hardened gearing rated to AGMA class 9 standards that can withstand momentary shock overload of 200%. The oversized output bearings enhance overhung load capacity, ensuring longer operational life, while the high-carbon alloy output shaft delivers maximum strength and rigidity. Precision ground needle bearing journals after heat treating ensure optimal finish and fit, complemented by heavy-duty industrial oil seals that protect against lubricant loss and dirt intrusion. The gears and bearings are lubricated with permanent, heavy-duty gear oil. While the gearmotor is adaptable for mounting at any angle, shaft-up mounting with the motor below the gearhead is not recommended. The dimensions of the P1100 AC gearmotors are compatible with Bison 482 gearmotors and various Dayton gearmotors and include a conduit box for electrical connections.
