The Edge-O-Dock leveler is designed for permanent attachment to the face of a dock, ideally suited for docks that are at least 48 inches high. The system automatically drops the lip behind the face of the bumpers when the trailer departs, and no concrete recess is required for installation. The kit includes bumpers and comprehensive installation instructions. Standard ramping measures 29 inches, while the models FM/PP/PE 3066 and 3072 feature ramping of 29-13/16 inches with an option for a 36-5/8 inch long ramping length. A steel dock edge or approach ramp is necessary for proper installation. This electric hydraulic Edge-O-Dock is simple to operate; with the truck backed against the dock, the operator just needs to push and hold the control button to raise the leveler and extend the lip. The complete unit consists of a motor, pump, control box, cylinder, lines, and oil, and it is important to note that the truck must pull out for the leveler to return to its stored position.
