The Washdown DC motor is a 1/2 HP unit operating at 1750 RPM, featuring a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure with an S56C frame and designed for a 180V, continuous duty cycle. Engineered for durability in environments requiring frequent washdown or exposure to moisture, this motor is equipped with epoxy painted surfaces that help prevent water ingress during cleaning processes, while drain holes allow any infiltrated water to escape. Its high-quality construction includes 303 stainless steel shafts, spring-loaded contact seals, and a patented “V” ring Forsheda seal for enhanced sealing capability. The interior surfaces are coated with enamel and polyester to resist corrosion, while the exterior is finished with USDA approved epoxy paint. Additionally, the motor features stainless steel fan guards, a conduit box cover, and double sealed, oversized bearings for improved longevity and performance.
