The Washdown DC motor is a robust 3/4 HP unit operating at 1750 RPM, featuring a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure with a S56C frame and rigid C design, suitable for 180V continuous duty applications. This motor is specifically designed for extended life in environments that require regular washdown or are subject to wet conditions. Its epoxy-painted exterior helps prevent the ingress of water during cleaning operations, while strategically placed drain holes facilitate the exit of any water that may enter. Additionally, the motor's interior surfaces are coated to prevent corrosion, further enhancing longevity. Key features include high-quality 303 stainless steel shafts, spring-loaded contact seals, and a patented “V” ring Forsheda seal, along with enamel and polyester-coated interior surfaces, USDA-approved epoxy paint on external surfaces, stainless steel fan guards, a conduit box cover, and double-sealed, oversized bearings for optimal performance.
