The Washdown DC motor is a 1/3HP, 1750 RPM unit designed with a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure and a S56C frame, operating at 90V with continuous duty capabilities. It is specifically engineered for extended life in applications that involve regular washdown or wet environments. The motor features epoxy-painted exteriors that help prevent water ingress during cleaning operations, complemented by strategically located drain holes to allow any trapped water to exit. Additionally, the interior surfaces of the motor are coated for extra protection against corrosion. Key attributes include high-quality 303 stainless steel shafts, spring-loaded contact seals, a patented “V” Ring Forsheda seal, and double-sealed, oversized bearings. The external surfaces are finished with USDA-approved epoxy paint, and stainless steel fan guards and conduit box covers enhance durability.
