The Master Lock® No. M5STS Magnum Laminated Steel Padlock is designed for enhanced security and durability. It features a 2in (51mm) wide laminated steel body encased in a stainless steel body cover, providing maximum strength and weatherability. The padlock includes a 3/8in (10mm) diameter octagonal shackle that is 1in (25mm) long, constructed from chrome-plated boron carbide, which is 50% harder than hardened steel, ensuring maximum resistance to cutting and sawing. Additionally, it has a 4-pin cylinder to prevent picking, while dual locking ball bearings offer maximum resistance against prying and hammering. The Commercial Magnum series is specifically designed for applications in outdoor, corrosive, and caustic environments, providing an elevated level of weatherability and security.
