These indicators, which are single-use and tamperproof, feature an activation mechanism that turns them red upon impact, allowing for easy identification of affected inventory that requires further inspection. If no impact is detected, the shipment can proceed to saleable inventory. The indicators utilize passive RFID technology, eliminating any concerns about battery life.
