The cabinets are fire rated for 1 hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, having been tested at temperatures reaching 1700 degrees Fahrenheit and explosion tested at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, meeting the industry's fire protection standards. Additionally, they are impact rated, having undergone a test simulating a 30-foot drop onto concrete rubble, followed by reheating in a fire, ensuring durability in severe conditions such as collapsing roofs or walls. For water resistance, the cabinets feature a Phoenix labyrinth sealing system and special gaskets to guard against water damage from fire suppression efforts. Digital protection is provided for computer storage devices including CDs, DVDs, USB drives, and memory sticks/cards. The cabinets have an anti-tip safety mechanism that prevents multiple drawers from opening at once, and feature a rugged three-way suspension system for stability and smooth operation, even when loaded. Each drawer acts as a separate insulated container, equipped with an inner steel jacket, ensuring insulation remains intact and preventing fire from propagating if one drawer is left open, while also restricting access to locked drawers.
