The Rotary File Cabinet Adder Unit is designed for letter-sized files and features a light gray finish with three shelves. Its innovative double-sided, rotating shelf design maximizes file storage capacity while minimizing space usage, allowing for quick access to materials. The cabinet is constructed with an EZ2® base made from 13 gauge steel reinforced with 13 gauge steel-formed U-channel reinforcements that feature a 4" wide x 3-1/2" deep cross-section, providing a robust structure capable of supporting the cabinet's weight. Each corner is strengthened with an 11 gauge steel gusset, and the base includes four adjustable leveling feet for easy leveling from the top. The unit includes (4) upright posts made from 11 gauge steel, bolted to the base, with dual durometer PVC closing strips. It features a lock assembly that is conveniently located on the right front post, and each lock can be installed on either side for versatility. The rotary bottom operates on 5/8" diameter, hardened steel ball bearings, with the letter-sized unit featuring a 19-1/4" diameter bearing cage containing 22 ball bearings. The mechanism allows for 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet without needing a foot pedal for operation.
