The EZ2® base is constructed from 13 gauge steel featuring 13 gauge steel formed U-channel reinforcements, with these channels measuring 4" wide by 3-1/2" deep and extending the full length and width of the base. To enhance stability, each corner is reinforced with a welded steel 11 gauge gusset. This base mechanism is designed to provide 90° indexing of the rotary file cabinet. Each EZ2® unit includes four upright posts equipped with dual durometer PVC closing strips. It is important to note that this product includes the cabinet base only, with shelving and drawers available for separate purchase.
