Cast-iron, helical bevel speed reducers are designed for use with NEMA frame motors ranging from 1/4 HP to 30 HP and are available in box sizes 37-97. These reducers provide speed ratios from 5:1 to 120:1 and feature NEMA motor quill style input flanges along with standard hollow output bores. Each unit comes pre-filled with mineral oil and includes a 2-year warranty. Special attributes of the speed reducers include ball bearings on both the input and output shafts as well as precision ground gears, which contribute to improved rotation and quieter operation. The units can be configured in several mounting styles, including foot-mounted (KHN), torque arm mounted (KAN), or B5/B14 flange mounted (KAN), with options for single shaft and double shaft output kits available.
