Cast-iron, helical bevel speed reducers are designed for a range of applications and are available in box sizes 37-97 to accommodate 1/4 HP to 30 HP NEMA frame motors, with speed ratios from 5:1 to 120:1. These units feature NEMA motor quill style input flanges and standard hollow output bores, and they come pre-filled with mineral oil. Each unit is backed by a 2-year warranty. Notable features include ball bearings on both the input and output shafts, as well as precision ground gears that enhance rotation efficiency and reduce operational noise. The KAN style is equipped with standard B14 mounting, while options for torque arm mount and B5 flange mounts are available as separate accessories. Additionally, single shaft and double shaft output kits can be procured for further customization.
