The Velo privacy screen add-on is designed for use with Air Louvers 24" x 24" vision lites, specifically compatible with the VSL and VLFEZ series vision frames. This solution provides complete blocking of light and vision while being easy to attach in seconds using hook and loop fasteners, seamlessly blending with the existing frame. Constructed from an 18 gauge aluminum frame with a standard mineral bronze powder coat finish, the frame measures 1-1/4" x 1/4" on all four sides and features radius corners that are mitered and welded. The design incorporates 7/8" deep slots on both sides, ensuring no light leakage, even at the edges. The spring-operated roller, housed in aluminum with black plastic end caps, operates with a black plastic push-button latch to release the shade. The shade itself is made from durable, 100% opaque black light-blocking fabric and is attached to a rigid pull-down bar. Mounting is facilitated with a 1/2" wide adhesive-backed hook and loop fastener that adheres to the vision lite. The product boasts a UL rating, making it suitable for installation on fire-rated doors and is tested to maintain existing door, vision lite, and glazing fire ratings for up to 90 minutes for both steel and wood doors. This model fits various Air Louvers vision frames, including VSL, VSIG, VLFEZ, and VLFEZIG, with options for other colors and variations available upon request.
