The Fire-rated Door Louver 1900A2418B features an adjustable Z-blade and self-attach design, measuring 24" x 18" in bronze. This adjustable Z-blade louver includes a fusible link activated at 165 degrees F, making it ideal for use in fire doors with a fire rating of up to 1-1/2 hours. The self-attaching frame style facilitates installation in existing door cutouts. It is constructed from 16 gauge CRS for both the frame and louver blades, accommodating a minimum size of 10" x 6" and a maximum size of 24" x 24". The louver is riveted at 1" intervals to the operating bar and a welded 1-9/16" deep frame, with mechanical stops that hold the blades open. The mitered and welded corners of the frame are secured with screws fastened through the prepared frame into the louver core, keeping the corridor side free of visible fasteners. The adjustable blades pivot on cadmium-plated steel rivets, and a manual adjusting lever operates the blades. Additionally, a spring-loaded fusible link mechanism ensures that, upon melting of the link, the action bar is actuated to close and lock all blades securely.
