The Velo privacy screen add-on is designed for use with Air Louvers 24" x 30" vision lites, specifically compatible with the VSL and VLFEZ series vision frames. This privacy screen effectively blocks light and visibility, attaching quickly using hook and loop fasteners, while blending seamlessly with the existing frame. It features an 18 gauge aluminum frame with a standard mineral bronze powder coat finish and has a construction of a 1-1/4" x 1/4" frame on all sides, equipped with radius corners that are mitered and welded. The design includes 7/8" deep slots on both sides to ensure no light penetrates, even along the edges. The system operates with a spring-operated roller housed in aluminum with black plastic end caps, and a plastic push-button latch allows for easy retraction of the shade, which is made from durable, 100% opaque, black, light-blocking fabric attached to a rigid pull-down bar. For mounting, it utilizes a 1/2" wide adhesive backed hook and loop fastener, making installation straightforward. The privacy screen holds a UL rating that allows for installation on fire-rated doors, having been tested to maintain existing door, vision lite, and glazing fire ratings for up to 90 minutes for both steel and wood doors. This model is specifically designed to fit Air Louvers VSL, VSIG, VLFEZ, and VLFEZIG vision frames in the specified size, with additional sizes available upon request to accommodate other manufacturers' vision lites. Options for different colors and configurations, including Velo for sidelites, are also offered.
