The Velo Privacy Screen Add-On for Air Louvers 24" x 32" Vision Lites is designed for use with the Air Louvers VSL and VLFEZ series vision frames, providing a cost-effective means of adding privacy and light-blocking capabilities to both existing and new vision lites. This product features complete blocking of light and vision, quick attachment with hook and loop fasteners, and a design that blends seamlessly with the existing frame. Constructed from an 18 gauge aluminum frame in a standard mineral bronze powder coat finish, it has a frame of 1-1/4" x 1/4" on all four sides with radius corners that are mitered and welded, including 7/8" deep slots on both sides that prevent light from penetrating, even along the edges. Additionally, the screen incorporates a spring-operated roller in an aluminum housing with black plastic end caps, while a black plastic push-button latch allows for easy retraction of the shade. The shade itself consists of durable, 100% opaque black light-blocking fabric attached to a rigid pull-down bar. For mounting, a 1/2" wide adhesive-backed hook and loop fastener secures the screen to the vision lite. The product is UL rated for installation on fire-rated doors, having been tested to maintain existing door, vision lite, and glazing fire ratings of up to 90 minutes for both steel and wood doors, including temp-rise and non-temp-rise variants. This model is compatible with Air Louvers VSL, VSIG, VLFEZ, and VLFEZIG vision frames in the specified size, with options for different colors and additional configurations available upon request.
