The Glacier™ Patron Access Stations study carrel adder is designed to enhance library environments by providing public workstations suitable for reading, studying, or internet service. The adder carrel must be connected to a carrel base and can accommodate additional adders to form rows or aisles of private study booths. Constructed from all-wood materials, it offers a professional quality appearance. The surfaces are made of thermally fused melamine laminate that is water, scratch, stain, and burn resistant, ensuring long-lasting durability. The solid-core, industrial-grade particleboard construction provides superior strength and resistance to warping. The design features 3mm edging with rounded bull-nose trim for enhanced wear and impact resistance. The 30" work surface is height adjustable from 27" to 29" in 1" increments, catering to a variety of user needs. It includes a full-height back and one side wall for privacy, as well as a 7-7/8" top shelf for additional storage. Built-in cable management grommets and a cable management trough help to maintain a neat appearance, while adjustable leveling feet allow for stability on uneven surfaces. The assembly process is straightforward, and it comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
