The Glacier™ Patron Access Stations Study Carrel Base is designed to equip libraries with public workstations suitable for reading, studying, or providing internet service. This library station features a comfortable work area ideal for public access computers or private study areas. The freestanding carrel allows for the attachment of the Carrel Adder to create rows or aisles of privacy booths. Its all-wood construction provides a professional quality appearance, while the thermally fused melamine laminate surfaces are water, scratch, stain, and burn resistant, ensuring long-lasting durability. The solid-core, industrial-grade particleboard offers superior strength and resistance to warping, complemented by 3mm edging with rounded bull-nose trim for enhanced wear and impact resistance. The 30"D work surface is height adjustable from 27"H to 29"H in 1" increments to accommodate various users. Additional features include full height back and side walls for privacy, a 7-7/8"D top shelf for increased storage space, built-in cable management grommets and trough for maintaining an attractive appearance, and adjustable leveling feet for uneven surfaces. The product is designed for easy assembly and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
